THE QUEST FOR WORK-LIFE BALANCE IN LEGAL PRACTICE:
THE ESSENTIAL CHALLENGE AND THE PATH TO INTEGRATION

In this two-part interactive discussion, presenters and facilitators will share issues related to work-life balance in the legal profession. The first part of this discussion will explore time and task management challenges, examining cultural differences and opposing perspectives. The second session will provide strategies, ideas, and best practices for integrating work and life in ways that achieve both personal satisfaction and professional success. Participants will also discuss firm practices that can be implemented to eliminate bias toward women who choose reduced hours for childcare or personal needs, as well as policies that can be adopted to provide more options for women to stay in the workforce.
