EXPLORING THE UNCHARTED WATERS OF VALUATION IN TODAY'S COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE MARKET
Valuation of commercial real estate has always been fundamental to real estate transactions. However, valuation has taken on an even more pivotal role in today's distressed real estate market. During this panel, a senior accounting professional, property owner, and real estate valuation expert will explore how current valuation models are being used to analyze today's real estate transactions. In particular, the panel will focus its attention on how to effectively incorporate into the valuation process such key issues as minimal deal flow, continual repricing of commercial real estate, unavailability of traditional sources of capital, and evolving accounting standards.
